Sub-paragraph 3: Aptitude test

The aptitude test to which the Prefect may decide to subject the applicant, in whole or in part, under the conditions set out in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 212-93, is to verify the applicant’s ability to supervise participants safely in one of the three options A, B or C of the “parachuting” option of the BP JEPS, speciality “sports instructor” or in the “parachuting activities”…

The aptitude test is organised nationwide under the authority of the Prefect of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur sports resources, expertise and performance centre.

The declarant is assessed by a jury appointed and chaired by the head of the regional deconcentrated department of the State responsible for sports in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur or his representative and comprising : – a representative of the French Parachuting Federation; – one or more representatives of professional organisations; – one or more qualified technicians holding at least a level IV state diploma in parachuting.
