Paragraph 1: Obligation to declare

The declaration of the initial opening of a swimming pool or bathing area provided for in article L. 1332-1 of the Public Health Code must be accompanied by supporting documentation. When changes are made to the facilities of a swimming pool or bathing area, these must be declared in accordance with the procedure laid down in article A. 322-4.

The internal regulations of each swimming pool must include at least the provisions set out in appendix III-8 of this code. They must be clearly displayed for users.

In swimming pools, a complete and up-to-date technical file containing plans and descriptions of the installations is made available to the agents referred to in article L. 1332-5 of the Public Health Code.
