Training leave is granted as of right in order to take part in a training course or attend a training session that meets the criteria set out in article R. 7227-15. Any refusal by the employer must be justified and notified to the person concerned.

The organisation providing the training course or session must issue the employee with a certificate attesting to his or her actual attendance. This certificate shall be given to the employer if requested when the employee returns to work.
