Subsection 4: Taking account of the national health strategy in Corsica, in the local authorities referred to in Article 73 of the Constitution and in Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon

The national health strategy includes a specific section for Corsica, each of the overseas collectivities governed by Article 73 of the French Constitution and those of Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, taking particular account of the epidemiological data and health risks specific to the collectivity.

The national plans and programmes provided for in I of article R. 1411-2 include a section specific to each local authority mentioned in article R. 1411-7, drawn up in consultation with the local authority and the relevant regional health agency. The consultation provided for in the first paragraph of article R. 1411-3 is adapted to the characteristics and health situation of each community mentioned in article R. 1411-7.

The annual monitoring and multi-year assessments of the national health strategy provided for in article R. 1411-4 , as well as the monitoring of the state of health of the population, inequalities in health and their determinants, include data specific to each local authority mentioned in article R. 1411-7.

When the national health strategy is drawn up and evaluated, account is taken of regional cooperation initiatives organised by players in the health and medico-social sectors, with each of the local authorities mentioned in article R. 1411-7.
