Section 3: Foreign nationals with EU long-term resident status in another EU Member State and family members

Article R426-5 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Article R426-6 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The spouse or child who has entered French territory as a minor, mentioned in Articles L. 426-12 or L. 426-13, who applies for the issue of a temporary residence permit bearing the wording “private and family life” pursuant to these articles or a multi-annual residence permit on the basis of Article L. 433-4 must submit their application within three months of their entry into France.
