Chapter I: PROVISIONS SPECIFIC TO THE AUTHORITIES GOVERNED BY ARTICLE 73 OF THE CONSTITUTION AND TO SAINT-PIERRE-ET-MIQUELON

The provisions of this book shall apply ipso jure in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Mayotte and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, subject to the adaptations provided for in this chapter.

For the application of the provisions of this book in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Réunion, Mayotte and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon:1° References to the Prefect are replaced by references to the State representative in the local authority;2° In article R. 237-1, the reference to Article R. 431-22 is deleted;3° In Article R. 270-4, the reference to Article R. 812-1 is deleted.

For the application of the provisions of this book in Guadeloupe:1° Article R. 251-3 is not applicable;2° In Article R. 253-1, the reference to Article R. 614-1 is deleted.

For the application of the provisions of this book in French Guiana:1° Article R. 251-3 is not applicable;2° In Article R. 253-1, the reference to Article R. 614-1 is deleted.

For the application of this book in Mayotte: 1° The references to the benefits mentioned in articles L. 160-8 and L. 160-9 of the Social Security Code are replaced by the reference to the benefits mentioned in article 20-1 of order no. 96-1122 of 20 December 1996 relating to the improvement of public health in Mayotte; 2° Article R. 210-1 is worded as follows: “Art.
