Subsection 3: Updates

Updates to an asset with digital elements are governed by this subsection. For the purposes of this sub-section, updates mean updates or modifications intended to maintain, adapt or evolve the functionalities of the asset, including safety updates, whether or not such updates are necessary to maintain the asset’s conformity.
