Selective financial aid is awarded either for the promotion abroad of specific audiovisual works or for the promotion abroad of the companies’ catalogue of works referred to in article 722-6. This aid is awarded on the basis of the nature, quality and cost of the service and, in the case of special promotional operations, their strategic and innovative nature.
Aid for the promotion of audiovisual works abroad helps cover the following promotional expenses, provided they are directly allocated to the promotion of the works abroad, excluding the company’s own operating expenses: 1° Design, creation, overhaul or substantial development of a website dedicated to international sales; 2° Digital promotion for the following operations: direct mail, viral video campaign, online community and social network animation, graphic design, website dedicated to a…
The decision to grant aid is taken after consultation with the Audiovisual Promotion Aid Committee, on presentation of invoices paid by the company.
Applications for support must be submitted between six and eight weeks before the date scheduled for each of the two annual sessions of the Audiovisual Promotion Support Committee.
The aid is awarded in the form of a grant.
The amount of aid is capped at :1° 50% of expenditure relating to the design, creation and overhaul or substantial development of a website dedicated to international sales, up to a limit of €30,000 per company every three years;2° 50% of expenditure relating to digital promotion, up to a limit of €5,000 per company per year;3° 50% of expenditure relating to the production of a style guide, up to a…
The Audiovisual Promotion Aid Committee is made up of four members appointed for a renewable term of two years. A representative of the association called “Unifrance” and a representative of the trade association called “Syndicat des entreprises de distribution des programmes audiovisuels” (SEDPA) attend the committee meetings as observers.
