Article 379-1 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The minutes of the judgments handed down by the assize court are collected and deposited at the registry of the judicial court, the seat of the said court.

However, the minutes of judgments handed down by the assize court of the department in which the court of appeal has its seat shall remain deposited at the registry of the said court.

Les minutes des arrêts rendus par la cour d’assises sont réunies et déposées au greffe du tribunal judiciaire, siège de ladite cour.

Toutefois, les minutes des arrêts rendus par la cour d’assises du département où siège la cour d’appel restent déposées au greffe de ladite cour.
