Article 431-4 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The granting of aid is subject to the provisions of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty, in particular those provided for in Chapter I and Article 54 of Section 11 relating to aid schemes for audiovisual works.
However, when they are granted under 2° of Article 432-1, the benefit of aid is subject to compliance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 1407/2013 of 18 December 2013 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid.

Article 431-4

L’attribution des aides est soumise aux dispositions du règlement (UE) n° 651/2014 de la Commission du 17 juin 2014 déclarant certaines catégories d’aides compatibles avec le marché intérieur en application des articles 107 et 108 du traité, notamment celles prévues par le chapitre Ier et l’article 54 de la section 11 relatif aux régimes d’aides en faveur des œuvres audiovisuelles.
Toutefois, lorsqu’elles sont attribuées au titre du 2° de l’article 432-1, le bénéfice des aides est subordonné au respect du règlement (UE) n° 1407/2013 de la Commission du 18 décembre 2013 relatif à l’application des articles 107 et 108 du traité sur le fonctionnement de l’Union européenne aux aides de minimis.
