Article 696-66 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Public Prosecutor shall receive requests for the recognition and enforcement in the territory of the French Republic of judicial supervision orders issued by the competent authorities of other Member States, as well as all decisions to extend, modify or release measures already ordered and recognised.

It may obtain or have obtained any additional information it deems useful. Where the certificate referred to in Article 696-53 is incomplete or clearly does not correspond to an application for placement under judicial supervision, it shall set a maximum period of ten days for the competent authority of the issuing State to complete or rectify the certificate.

Le procureur de la République reçoit les demandes tendant à la reconnaissance et à l’exécution sur le territoire de la République des décisions de placement sous contrôle judiciaire ordonnées par les autorités compétentes des autres Etats membres, ainsi que toutes les décisions de prorogation, de modification ou de mainlevée, afférentes aux mesures déjà ordonnées et reconnues.

Il peut procéder ou faire procéder à tout complément d’information qu’il estime utile. Lorsque le certificat mentionné à l’article 696-53 est incomplet ou ne correspond manifestement pas à une demande de placement sous contrôle judiciaire, il impartit un délai maximal de dix jours à l’autorité compétente de l’Etat d’émission pour compléter ou rectifier le certificat.
