Article 721-4 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

To be eligible for aid for the promotion of cinematographic works abroad, companies must meet the following conditions:
1° Be established in France;
2° Have chairmen, directors or managers, as well as the majority of directors who are French nationals or equivalent;
3° Not be controlled by one or more natural or legal persons who are nationals of States other than European States, when they are set up in the form of commercial companies.

Pour être admises au bénéfice des aides à la promotion à l’étranger des œuvres cinématographiques, les entreprises répondent aux conditions suivantes :
1° Etre établies en France ;
2° Avoir des présidents, directeurs ou gérants, ainsi que la majorité des administrateurs ressortissants français ou assimilés ;
3° Ne pas être contrôlées par une ou plusieurs personnes physiques ou morales ressortissantes d’Etats autres que des Etats européens, lorsqu’elles sont constituées sous forme de sociétés commerciales.
