Direct subsidies contribute to the following promotional expenses, provided they are directly allocated to the promotion of works abroad, excluding the company’s own operating expenses:
1° Dubbing into a foreign version or purchase of an existing dubbed version;
2° Subtitling into a foreign version, including pre-editing or purchase of an existing subtitled version;
3° Translation into a foreign version of a dialogue continuity known as a “script”, the presentation file or the log;
4° Production or purchase of a foreign-language voice-over;
5° Reformatting into an international format, excluding high definition;
6° Production of foreign-language or bilingual French and foreign-language demonstration tapes;
7° Design, production and distribution of promotional material, including in electronic form. The editorial sections of these promotional materials must be in foreign or bilingual French and foreign versions;
8° Purchase of advertising space in the specialist trade press;
9° Registration of works on viewing platforms set up at trade markets.
