Article 726 of the French Code of civil procedure

The court registry shall keep a general register of the cases brought before the court.

The general register shall indicate the date of referral, the registration number, the names of the parties, the nature of the case, if applicable the chamber to which it is distributed, and the nature and date of the decision.

Le greffe tient un répertoire général des affaires dont la juridiction est saisie.

Le répertoire général indique la date de la saisine, le numéro d’inscription, le nom des parties, la nature de l’affaire, s’il y a lieu la chambre à laquelle celle-ci est distribuée, la nature et la date de la décision.
