Article 849-19 of the French Code of civil procedure

In all acts relating to the court’s reparation of damages and the forced execution of the judgment, the plaintiff in the action shall specify, in addition to the particulars provided by law, on pain of nullity, the identity of the persons on whose behalf he is acting.
