Article 919-26 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Exceptional aid is awarded to distribution companies that :
1° Have distributed at least three cinematographic works during 2018, 2019 and 2020;
2° Have distributed a cinematographic work released in cinematographic theatres in 2020 or a cinematographic work that was scheduled to be released in cinematographic theatres in 2020 but could not be released due to the ban on public access to cinematographic theatres;
3° Undertake to continue distributing cinematographic works during 2021;
4° Have achieved a turnover of less than €3,000,000 in each of the years 2018, 2019 and 2020;
5° Have achieved a turnover relating to the distribution of cinematographic works in cinemas representing at least 25% of their average total turnover in the years 2018 and 2019;
6° In 2020, have suffered a loss of turnover relating to the distribution of cinematographic works in cinemas of at least 25% compared with the average turnover achieved in the same respect in 2018 and 2019.

Article 919-26

Les aides exceptionnelles sont attribuées aux entreprises de distribution qui :
1° Ont distribué au moins trois œuvres cinématographiques au cours des années 2018, 2019 et 2020 ;
2° Ont distribué une œuvre cinématographique sortie en salles de spectacles cinématographiques en 2020 ou une œuvre cinématographique dont la sortie en salles de spectacles cinématographiques était programmée en 2020 mais n’a pas pu avoir lieu en raison des mesures d’interdiction d’accueil du public dans ces salles ;
3° S’engagent à maintenir une activité de distribution d’œuvres cinématographiques au cours de l’année 2021 ;
4° Ont réalisé un chiffre d’affaires inférieur à 3 000 000 € au titre de chacune des années 2018, 2019 et 2020 ;
5° Ont réalisé un chiffre d’affaires relatif à la distribution d’œuvres cinématographiques en salles de spectacles cinématographiques représentant au moins 25 % de leur chiffre d’affaires total moyen réalisé au cours des années 2018 et 2019 ;
6° Ont subi en 2020 une perte du chiffre d’affaires relatif à la distribution d’œuvres cinématographiques en salles de spectacles cinématographiques d’au moins 25 % par rapport au chiffre d’affaires moyen réalisé au même titre au cours des années 2018 et 2019.
