Article A212-197 of the French Sports Code

The applicant is assessed by a jury appointed and chaired by the head of the regional deconcentrated department of the State responsible for sports in the region in which the establishment mentioned in article A. 212-196 is located, or his or her representative, and comprising :

a representative of the Fédération française d’études et sports sous-marins;

-at least one representative of the most representative employers’ or employees’ professional organisation;

where necessary, one or more qualified technicians who hold a first-degree State diploma in sports education, “underwater diving” option, or a DE JEPS diploma in “underwater diving” or a DE JEPS diploma in “underwater diving activities” or a higher State diploma in youth, popular education and sport, specialising in “sports performance”, “underwater diving” option.

Le déclarant est évalué par un jury désigné et présidé par le chef de service déconcentré régional de l’Etat chargé des sports de la région dans laquelle est situé l’établissement mentionné à l’article A. 212-196 ou son représentant et comprenant :

-un représentant de la Fédération française d’études et sports sous-marins ;

-au moins un représentant de l’organisation professionnelle d’employeurs ou de salariés la plus représentative ;

-en tant que de besoin, un ou plusieurs techniciens qualifiés titulaires du brevet d’Etat d’éducateur sportif du premier degré, option “ plongée subaquatique ” ou du DE JEPS, mention “ plongée subaquatique ” ou du DE JEPS mention “ activités de plongée subaquatique ” ou du diplôme d’Etat supérieur de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport, spécialité “ performance sportive ”, mention “ plongée subaquatique ”.
