The aptitude test to which the Prefect may decide to subject the declarant in whole or in part, under the conditions laid down in article R. 212-90-1 and in 3° of article R. 212-93 , is intended to verify the declarant’s ability to supervise participants in safety. It comprises two tests:
1° a test to verify theoretical and practical knowledge of safety;
2° a technical safety test.
If the declarant is subject to both tests, the test to verify theoretical and practical safety knowledge is assessed first. If the declarant fails, he may not take the technical safety test.
The content of the aptitude test is set out in Annex II-16-2.
