Article A230-7 of the French Insurance Code

When a non-resident foreigner applies for a hunting licence, the period of validity of the insurance certificate provided for in article L. 223-13 of the new Rural and Maritime Fishing Code may not exceed forty-eight hours.

The insurer must provide the non-resident foreign national with a temporary insurance certificate in accordance with the model attached to this article.

Lorsqu’un étranger non-résident demande une licence de chasse, la période de validité de l’attestation d’assurance prévue à l’article L. 223-13 du nouveau code rural et de la pêche maritime ne peut excéder un délai de quarante-huit heures.

L’assureur doit remettre à l’étranger non-résident une attestation d’assurance temporaire conforme au modèle annexé au présent article.
