Article A322-123 of the French Sports Code

The overall design of the equipment, premises, stables, riding arenas, training tracks and outdoor installations, meadows, paddocks, internal circulation routes and access to the outside of the establishment must be compatible with the nature of the equestrian activity practised and the safety of riders, equidae and third parties.

These installations must be maintained in good condition.

La conception d’ensemble des équipements, locaux, écuries, manèges, carrières, pistes d’entraînement ainsi que des installations extérieures, prairies, enclos, voies de circulation intérieure et des accès vers l’extérieur de l’établissement doit être compatible avec la nature de l’activité équestre pratiquée, la sécurité des pratiquants, des équidés et des tiers.

Ces installations doivent être maintenues en bon état.
