All the jumps made are recorded in a specific logbook, held by the student, on which the instructors certify the skills acquired:

1° Apart from the accompanied progression in the chute, the students first carry out jumps in automatic opening which enable them to demonstrate their ability to make stable exits and to simulate the action of opening. They must make a minimum of four automatic opening jumps before entering freefall. Once in freefall, the release height and the exercise required must enable the student to open at a minimum height of one thousand two hundred metres;

2° Students following an accompanied progression in freefall must be accompanied in freefall by one or two instructors until such time as they have demonstrated their ability to stabilise uncontrolled exits, to perform prolonged stable falls, to control a “return to face ground” after a voluntary “back passage”, to correctly assess their height and to open their parachute at a predetermined height. The first jump is always accompanied by two instructors. They must also have made a minimum of six accompanied jumps before making an unaccompanied jump. The parachuting height must not be less than three thousand metres and the opening height must not be less than one thousand two hundred metres;

3° The use of the tandem is possible at all stages of the student’s progression. The parachuting height must not be less than three thousand metres and the opening height must not be less than one thousand five hundred metres.

Tous les sauts réalisés sont répertoriés sur un carnet spécifique, détenu par l’élève, sur lequel les moniteurs attestent les aptitudes acquises :

1° Hors de la progression accompagnée en chute, les élèves effectuent d’abord des sauts en ouverture automatique qui leur permettent de démontrer leur aptitude à effectuer des sorties stables et à simuler l’action d’ouverture. Ils doivent effectuer un minimum de quatre sauts en ouverture automatique avant d’accéder à la chute libre. Dès l’accès à la chute libre, la hauteur de largage et l’exercice demandé doivent permettre à l’élève d’effectuer son ouverture à la hauteur minimale de mille deux cent mètres ;

2° Les élèves suivant une progression accompagnée en chute doivent être accompagnés en chute par un ou deux moniteurs aussi longtemps qu’ils n’ont pas démontré leur aptitude à stabiliser des sorties non tenues, à effectuer des chutes stables prolongées, à maîtriser un ” retour face sol ” après un ” passage dos ” volontaire, à apprécier correctement leur hauteur et ouvrir leur parachute à une hauteur prédéterminée. Le premier saut s’effectue toujours accompagné de deux moniteurs. Ils doivent en outre avoir effectué un minimum de six sauts accompagnés avant d’effectuer un saut non accompagné. La hauteur de parachutage ne doit pas être inférieure à trois mille mètres et la hauteur d’ouverture ne doit pas être inférieure à mille deux cents mètres ;

3° L’utilisation du tandem est possible à tous les stades de la progression de l’élève. La hauteur de parachutage ne doit pas être inférieure à trois mille mètres et la hauteur d’ouverture ne doit pas être inférieure à mille cinq cents mètres.
