Article A37-20-4 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

In the case provided for in 2° of Article A. 37-20-2, the person specifies the identity, address and driving licence reference of the person who was presumed to be driving the vehicle when the offence was recorded; he or she is not required to send a letter transmitted digitally; he or she is informed that any false statement exposes him or her to criminal prosecution.

Dans le cas prévu au 2° de l’article A. 37-20-2, la personne précise l’identité, l’adresse, ainsi que la référence du permis de conduire de la personne qui était présumée conduire le véhicule lorsque la contravention a été constatée ; elle n’est pas tenue d’adresser une lettre transmise de façon numérisée ; elle est informée que toute fausse déclaration l’expose à des poursuites pénales.
