Article A37-27 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

I. – On the front of slips no. 2, 3, 4 and 5, on the left-hand side of “B. Encaissement”, the offender and the ticketing officers affix their signatures under the words: “He acknowledges having been informed, prior to payment, of the provisions set out on the reverse of this document (in particular those of Article L. 223-3 of the Highway Code and that this payment entails definitive recognition of the offence and the withdrawal of points)”. On the right-hand side of “B. Encaissement”, the offender and the ticketing officers sign under the heading: “He acknowledges having been informed of the provisions set out on the reverse of this document”.

On the right-hand side “C. Method of payment” contains information on the method of payment of the fixed fine or deposit. The following statement is added: “This contravention results in the loss of driving licence points”, as well as a box “Obligation to exchange the driving licence”, which must be ticked by the ticketing officer if the offender or the perpetrator of the offence is subject to such an obligation.

II. – On the back of sheet no. 2, the information relating to the rights of the offender or the perpetrator of the offence provided for in III of Article A. 37-9.

On the back of sheets n^os 3 and 4, the information relating to the rights of the offender or the perpetrator of the offence provided for in III of article A. 37-9 appears and it is indicated that the offender or the perpetrator of the offence has been informed.

I. ― Au recto des feuillets n^os 2, 3, 4 et 5, sur la partie gauche du ” B. Encaissement ”, le contrevenant et les agents verbalisateurs apposent leur signature sous la mention : ” Il reconnaît avoir été informé, avant paiement, des dispositions portées au verso de ce document (notamment celles de l’article L. 223-3 du code de la route et de ce que ce paiement entraîne reconnaissance définitive de l’infraction et retrait de points) ”. Sur la partie droite du ” B. Encaissement ”, l’auteur de l’infraction et les agents verbalisateurs apposent leur signature sous la mention : ” Il reconnaît avoir été informé des dispositions portées au verso de ce document ”.

Sur la partie droite ” C. Mode de règlement ” figurent les informations relatives au mode de règlement de l’amende forfaitaire ou de la consignation. La mention suivante y est apposée : ” Cette contravention entraîne un retrait de points du permis de conduire ”, ainsi qu’une case ” Obligation d’échange du permis de conduire ” qui doit être cochée par l’agent verbalisateur si le contrevenant ou l’auteur de l’infraction est soumis à une telle obligation.

II. ― Au verso du feuillet n° 2 figurent les mentions d’information relatives aux droits du contrevenant ou de l’auteur de l’infraction prévues au III de l’article A. 37-9.

Au verso des feuillets n^os 3 et 4 figurent les mentions d’information relatives aux droits du contrevenant ou de l’auteur de l’infraction prévues au III de l’article A. 37-9 et il est indiqué que le contrevenant ou l’auteur de l’infraction en a été informé.
