Article A421-4-1 of the French Insurance Code

Auxiliary accounts are kept in a third section of the accounts of the guarantee fund for compulsory non-life insurance, entitled “Transactions resulting from the extinction of the financing of statutory annuity increases”.

For this auxiliary accounting, the following is established

a) A section in the income statement ;

b) Specific asset and liability accounts in the balance sheet;

c) An appendix containing a summary statement of transactions carried out during the financial year, a summary statement of the investments of the section and the probable present value of the reimbursements of statutory increases stipulated by the insurance undertakings in future financial years in respect of annuities already known and revalued.

Article A421-4-1

Il est tenu une comptabilité auxiliaire faisant l’objet d’une troisième section dans les comptes du fonds de garantie des assurances obligatoires de dommages et intitulée “ Opérations résultant de l’extinction du financement des majorations légales de rentes ”.

Pour cette comptabilité auxiliaire, il est établi :

a) Une section dans le compte de résultat ;

b) Des comptes d’actif et de passif spécifiques au bilan ;

c) Une annexe comportant un état récapitulatif des opérations menées dans l’exercice, un état récapitulatif des placements de la section et la valeur actuelle probable des remboursements de majorations légales stipulés par les organismes d’assurance lors des exercices futurs relativement aux rentes déjà connues et revalorisées.
