Accredited associations offer, if they have general accreditation, any person who has been the victim of a criminal offence and, if they have specialist accreditation, any person who has been the victim of an offence relating to domestic violence and sexual and gender-based violence, where that person so requests, comprehensive, multidisciplinary, free and individualised care, without interfering, either on their own behalf or on that of the victim, in the course of the legal proceedings.

Accredited associations must ensure that there is no conflict of interest between the independent, impartial and objective exercise of their mission to help victims and any direct or indirect benefits or particular interests that they or one of their members may have.

L’association agréée propose, si elle dispose d’un agrément de compétence générale, à toute personne victime d’infraction pénale et, si elle dispose d’un agrément de compétence spécialisée, à toute personne victime d’infraction liée aux violences au sein du couple et aux violences sexuelles et sexistes, lorsque cette personne en fait la demande, une prise en charge globale, pluridisciplinaire, gratuite et individualisée, sans interférer, pour son propre compte ou pour celui de la victime, dans le déroulement de la procédure judiciaire.

Elle s’assure de l’absence de tout conflit d’intérêt entre l’exercice indépendant, impartial et objectif de sa mission d’aide aux victimes et les avantages ou intérêts particuliers, directs ou indirects, dont elle ou l’un de ses membres bénéficierait.
