Article D120-5 of the French Consumer Code

The provisions of this sub-section relating to the authorisation, under certain conditions, of the sale of products in bulk, are without prejudice to the application of specific rules applicable to products, in particular those which require professionals marketing these products to comply with obligations relating to consumer information concerning the essential characteristics of the products, the precautions to be taken for their consumption or use, their dangerousness and the risks that they may incur.

Les dispositions de la présente sous-section relatives à l’autorisation, dans certaines conditions, de la vente en vrac de produits, sont sans préjudice de l’application des règles particulières applicables à des produits, notamment celles qui imposent aux professionnels commercialisant ces produits de respecter des obligations en matière d’information des consommateurs au sujet des caractéristiques essentielles des produits, des précautions à prendre pour leur consommation ou leur usage, de leur dangerosité et des risques qu’ils peuvent faire encourir.
