Article D1340-3 of the French Public Health Code

The Strategic Vigilance Committee of the organisations responsible for toxicovigilance issues an opinion on :

1° The general organisation of the vigilance activities of these bodies, as well as the guidelines and developments required in terms of monitoring, expertise and management of toxic risks, based in particular on the activity reports of the bodies responsible for toxicovigilance and the indicators contained therein;

2° The strategic orientations of the information system defined in article R. 1340-6.

Le comité stratégique des vigilances des organismes chargés de la toxicovigilance émet un avis sur :

1° L’organisation générale des activités de vigilance de ces organismes, ainsi que sur les orientations et les évolutions nécessaires en matière de surveillance, d’expertise et de gestion des risques toxiques, en s’appuyant notamment sur les rapports d’activité des organismes chargés de la toxicovigilance et les indicateurs qui y figurent ;

2° Les orientations stratégiques du système d’information défini à l’article R. 1340-6.
