Article D211-100-1 of the French Sports Code

The maximum duration of the first employment contract referred to in Article L. 211-5 may be more than three years and up to five years when the collective agreement for the sport so provides and includes stipulations specifying:

1° The minimum and maximum age of the athlete;

2° The minimum remuneration offered to the athlete.

La durée maximale du premier contrat de travail mentionné à l’article L. 211-5 peut être supérieure à trois ans et portée jusqu’à cinq ans lorsque l’accord collectif de discipline le prévoit et comporte des stipulations précisant :

1° L’âge minimal et l’âge maximal du sportif ;

2° La rémunération minimale proposée au sportif.
