Article D224-72 of the French Consumer Code

At the entrance to the premises where the public is received to make a request for maintenance or repair of equipment mentioned in Article R. 224-70, the professional, mentioned in Article L. 224-113, informs the consumer of the possibility of opting, on the occasion of the proposed maintenance or repair service, for the use of parts from the circular economy, by means of a clear, visible and legible display from the outside.

This display specifies the categories of equipment concerned and the fact that the professional is not obliged to offer parts from the circular economy in the case provided for by article R. 224-69.

When the professional has a website, the information referred to in the second paragraph appears, clearly, visibly and legibly on it.

A l’entrée du local où le public est reçu pour effectuer une demande d’entretien ou de réparation d’un équipement mentionné à l’article R. 224-70, le professionnel, mentionné à l’article L. 224-113, informe le consommateur de la possibilité d’opter, à l’occasion de la prestation proposée d’entretien ou de réparation, pour l’utilisation de pièces issues de l’économie circulaire, par un affichage clair, visible et lisible de l’extérieur.

Cet affichage précise les catégories d’équipements concernés et le fait que le professionnel n’est pas tenu de proposer des pièces issues de l’économie circulaire dans le cas prévu par l’article R. 224-69.

Lorsque le professionnel dispose d’un site internet, les informations visées au deuxième alinéa apparaissent, de manière claire, visible et lisible sur celui-ci.
