Article D2411-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The application submitted by the electors of the section pursuant to articles L. 2411-3, L. 2411-4, L. 2411-6, L. 2411-11, L. 2411-16 and L. 2412-1, is expressed either by a collective letter, or by individual or collective letters written in concordant terms. The request shall be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or delivered to the addressee against receipt.

Each letter must include the subject and date of the request, the name of the section, the surname, first name, address and signature of each applicant.

La demande présentée par les électeurs de la section en application des articles L. 2411-3, L. 2411-4, L. 2411-6, L. 2411-11, L. 2411-16 et L. 2412-1, est exprimée soit par une lettre collective, soit par des lettres individuelles ou collectives rédigées en termes concordants. La demande est acheminée par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception ou remise à son destinataire contre récépissé.

Chaque lettre doit comporter l’objet et la date de la demande, la dénomination de la section, les nom, prénom, adresse et signature de chaque demandeur.
