Article D311-7 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée is notified of the decision to specialise one or more cinemas.
Unless the President objects on the grounds of non-compliance with the provisions of this section, the specialisation of a cinema takes effect on the first day of the cinematic quarter following the date of receipt of the notification provided for in the previous paragraph.

Article D311-7

La décision de spécialiser une ou plusieurs salles est notifiée au président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée.
Sauf opposition de celui-ci fondée sur le non-respect des dispositions de la présente section, la spécialisation d’une salle prend effet le premier jour du trimestre cinématographique qui suit la date de la réception de la notification prévue à l’alinéa précédent.
