Article D3231-5 of the French Labour Code

Employees defined in Article L. 3231-1 who have reached the age of eighteen receive from their employers, when their contractual hourly wage has fallen below the minimum growth wage in force, a supplement calculated so as to bring their remuneration up to the amount of this minimum growth wage.
