Article D324-15 of the French Tourism Code

The declaration of rental of one or more guest rooms provided for in article L. 324-4 is sent to the mayor of the municipality in which the dwelling concerned is located by electronic means, by registered letter or by handing it in at the town hall, and must be acknowledged.

The declaration must specify the identity of the declarant, the identification of the inhabitant’s address, the number of rooms to be rented, the maximum number of people likely to be accommodated and the planned rental period(s).

Any changes to the information contained in the declaration must be notified to the Town Hall.

The list of guest rooms is available for consultation at the Mairie.

La déclaration de location d’une ou plusieurs chambres d’hôtes prévue à l’article L. 324-4 est adressée au maire de la commune du lieu de l’habitation concernée par voie électronique, lettre recommandée ou dépôt en mairie et doit faire l’objet d’un accusé de réception.

La déclaration précise l’identité du déclarant, l’identification du domicile de l’habitant, le nombre de chambres mises en location, le nombre maximal de personnes susceptibles d’être accueillies et la ou les périodes prévisionnelles de location.

Tout changement concernant les éléments d’information que comporte la déclaration fait l’objet d’une nouvelle déclaration en mairie.

La liste des chambres d’hôtes est consultable en mairie.
