Article D4062-1 of the French Public Health Code

The Minister for Defence issues the authorisation to practise referred to in article L. 4061-7 for a period not exceeding two years. He may terminate it at any time, in particular if the performance of his duties by the visiting healthcare professional presents a risk to public health or if one of the conditions set out in article D. 4062-2 is no longer met.

The Minister for Defence shall inform the Minister for Health and, where applicable, the relevant Association Council of the authorisations to practise issued by him and of those which he terminates before they expire.

Article D4062-1

Le ministre de la défense délivre l’autorisation d’exercice mentionnée à l’article L. 4061-7 pour une durée ne pouvant excéder deux ans. Il peut y mettre fin à tout moment, notamment lorsque l’accomplissement de ses fonctions par le professionnel de santé accueilli présente un risque pour la santé publique ou que l’une des conditions fixées à l’article D. 4062-2 n’est plus remplie.


Le ministre de la défense informe le ministre de la santé et, le cas échéant, le conseil de l’ordre compétent des autorisations d’exercice délivrées par lui et de celles auxquelles il met fin avant leur terme.
