Article D4062-3 of the French Public Health Code

An agreement drawn up between the Minister for Defence and the legal entity to which the healthcare professional concerned belongs defines:

1° The nature of the training leading to a diploma or non-diploma enabling the acquisition or further development of a skill in the healthcare professional’s speciality and the places where this training is to be carried out;

2° Whether the healthcare professional’s duties are to be carried out under the responsibility of an armed forces health service healthcare professional;

3° Whether the healthcare professional participates in on-call duty, and under what conditions.

Une convention établie entre le ministre de la défense et la personne morale dont relève le professionnel de santé concerné définit :

1° La nature de la formation diplômante ou non diplômante permettant l’acquisition ou l’approfondissement d’une compétence dans la spécialité du professionnel de santé et les lieux de réalisation de cette formation ;

2° Si les fonctions du professionnel de santé doivent s’exercer sous la responsabilité d’un professionnel de santé du service de santé des armées ;

3° Si le professionnel de santé participe au service de gardes et astreintes et selon quelles modalités.
