Screening for the sexually transmitted infections listed in table II of appendix 41-3 may be prescribed, in accordance with current recommendations, by midwives for their patients and their partners.

Where the screening result is positive, the midwife prescribes the first-line treatment, in accordance with current recommendations, to the person or persons who have tested positive and in accordance with the list provided for in article L. 4151-4.

Les dépistages des infections sexuellement transmissibles figurant dans le tableau II de l’annexe 41-3 peuvent être prescrits, suivant les recommandations en vigueur, par les sages-femmes à leurs patientes et à leurs partenaires.

Lorsque le résultat du dépistage est positif, la sage-femme prescrit le traitement de première intention, suivant les recommandations en vigueur, à la ou aux personnes testées positives et conformément à la liste prévue par l’article L. 4151-4.
