Article D553-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Asylum seekers who have accepted the material reception conditions proposed by the Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration (French Office for Immigration and Integration) in application of article L. 551-9 and who hold an asylum application certificate issued in application of article L. 521-7 are eligible for the allowance provided for in this chapter. 521-7.
When the right to maintenance has ended in application of b or d of 1° of Article L. 542-2 and the asylum application certificate has been withdrawn or has not been renewed by the administrative authority, in application of Article L. 542-3, the asylum seeker’s allowance is paid until the terms provided for in Article L. 551-14.

Article D553-1

Sont admis au bénéfice de l’allocation prévue au présent chapitre, les demandeurs d’asile qui ont accepté les conditions matérielles d’accueil proposées par l’Office français de l’immigration et de l’intégration en application de l’article L. 551-9 et qui sont titulaires de l’attestation de demande d’asile délivrée en application de l’article L. 521-7.
Lorsque le droit au maintien a pris fin en application des b ou d du 1° de l’article L. 542-2 et que l’attestation de demande d’asile a été retirée ou n’a pas été renouvelée par l’autorité administrative, en application de l’article L. 542-3, l’allocation pour demandeur d’asile est versée jusqu’aux termes prévus à l’article L. 551-14.
