Article D553-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

To qualify for the asylum seeker’s allowance provided for in article L. 553-1, the asylum seeker must be at least eighteen years old and have monthly resources below the amount of the active solidarity income.
The resources taken into consideration for the application of the first paragraph include those of the person concerned and, where applicable, their spouse, partner linked by a civil solidarity pact or cohabiting partner. The amount taken into account is one twelfth of the total resources received during the twelve months preceding the month during which the resources are examined.

Article D553-3

Pour bénéficier de l’allocation pour demandeur d’asile prévue à l’article L. 553-1, le demandeur d’asile doit être âgé de dix-huit ans révolus et justifier de ressources mensuelles inférieures au montant du revenu de solidarité active.
Les ressources prises en considération pour l’application du premier alinéa comprennent celles de l’intéressé et, le cas échéant, de son conjoint, partenaire lié par un pacte civil de solidarité ou concubin. Le montant pris en compte est le douzième du total des ressources perçues pendant les douze mois précédant celui au cours duquel les ressources sont examinées.
