Article D553-4 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The following resources are not taken into account when determining entitlement to the asylum seeker’s allowance:
1° Family benefits;
2° Insurance or solidarity allowances, work placement remuneration and income from employment received during the reference period, where it is proven that receipt of these allowances, remuneration and income has been definitively interrupted at the date of the application and that the recipient of these resources is not entitled to a substitute income.

Les ressources suivantes ne sont pas prises en compte pour la détermination du droit à l’allocation pour demandeur d’asile :
1° Les prestations familiales ;
2° Les allocations d’assurance ou de solidarité, les rémunérations de stage et les revenus d’activité perçus pendant la période de référence, lorsqu’il est justifié que la perception de ces allocations, rémunérations et revenus est interrompue de manière certaine à la date de la demande et que le bénéficiaire de ces ressources ne peut prétendre à un revenu de substitution.
