Article D74 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The regulatory provisions of Subsection 1 of Section 3 of Chapter I of Title I of Book II of the Penitentiary Code determine the conditions under which a convicted person is subject to a referral procedure and then assigned to a prison establishment to serve his sentence there, in particular with regard to the information and documents provided or opinions issued by the judicial authority.

Les dispositions réglementaires de la sous-section 1 de la section 3 du chapitre Ier du titre Ier du livre II du code pénitentiaire déterminent les conditions dans lesquelles une personne condamnée fait l’objet d’une procédure d’orientation puis d’une affectation dans un établissement pénitentiaire pour y exécuter sa peine, notamment au regard des renseignements et pièces fournis ou avis émis par l’autorité judiciaire.
