Article L1335-4 of the French Public Health Code

The use of a facility referred to in Article L. 1335-3 may be prohibited by the State representative in the département, on a proposal from the Director General of the Regional Health Agency, if the conditions under which it is set up or operates are likely to result in a risk to public health or if the facility does not comply with the standards laid down or has not been brought into compliance within the period set by the competent administrative authority.

L’utilisation d’une installation mentionnée à l’article L. 1335-3 peut être interdite par le représentant de l’Etat dans le département, sur proposition du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé, si les conditions d’aménagement ou de fonctionnement sont susceptibles d’entraîner un risque pour la santé publique ou si l’installation n’est pas conforme aux normes prévues ou n’a pas été mise en conformité dans le délai fixé par l’autorité administrative compétente.
