Article L1423-14 of the French Labour Code

The premises required by the industrial tribunal are provided by the département in which it is established.

However, where a commune has made premises available to the industrial tribunal, it may not take them back, except at the express request of the département in which the tribunal is based.

Le local nécessaire au conseil de prud’hommes est fourni par le département dans lequel il est établi.

Toutefois, lorsqu’une commune a mis un local à la disposition du conseil de prud’hommes, elle ne peut le reprendre, sauf à la demande expresse du département dans lequel le conseil est établi.
