Article L1441-26 of the French Labour Code

In the case provided for in Article L. 1441-25, the industrial tribunal members are appointed jointly by the Minister of Justice and the Minister for Employment, by industrial tribunal, college and section, for the remainder of the term of office, on the recommendation of the trade unions and professional organisations in accordance with the procedures set out in this section.

Dans le cas prévu à l’article L. 1441-25, les conseillers prud’hommes sont nommés conjointement par le garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, et le ministre chargé du travail, par conseil de prud’hommes, collège et section, pour la durée du mandat restant à courir, sur proposition des organisations syndicales et professionnelles selon les modalités fixées à la présente section.
