Article L1441-7 of the French Labour Code

Candidates must

1° Be of French nationality ;

2° They must not have any entries in bulletin no. 2 of the criminal record that are incompatible with the exercise of industrial tribunal functions and must not be subject to any prohibition, disqualification or incapacity relating to their civic rights;

3° Be at least twenty-one years old;

4° Have been in employment for two years or have held an industrial tribunal office in the ten years preceding the candidacy.

Les conditions requises des candidats sont les suivantes :

1° Etre de nationalité française ;

2° Ne pas avoir au bulletin n° 2 du casier judiciaire de mentions incompatibles avec l’exercice des fonctions prud’homales et n’être l’objet d’aucune interdiction, déchéance ou incapacité relative à leurs droits civiques ;

3° Etre âgés de vingt et un ans au moins ;

4° Avoir exercé une activité professionnelle de deux ans ou justifier d’un mandat prud’homal dans les dix ans précédant la candidature.
