Article L211-2 of the French Sports Code

Approved sports federations provide training and further training for their managers. To this end, they may receive assistance from the public training establishments mentioned in article L. 211-1.

When they concern functions exercised for remuneration, the diplomas they award meet the conditions set out in article L. 212-1.

Diplomas relating to the exercise of an activity on a voluntary basis, within the framework of non-profit-making structures, may be obtained either following training or by validation of acquired experience.

Les fédérations sportives agréées assurent la formation et le perfectionnement de leurs cadres. Elles peuvent bénéficier, à cet effet, de l’aide des établissements publics de formation mentionnés à l’article L. 211-1.

Lorsqu’ils concernent des fonctions exercées contre rémunération, les diplômes qu’elles délivrent répondent aux conditions prévues à l’article L. 212-1.

Les diplômes concernant l’exercice d’une activité à titre bénévole, dans le cadre de structures ne poursuivant pas de buts lucratifs, peuvent être obtenus soit à l’issue d’une formation, soit par validation des expériences acquises.
