Article L212-33 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Admission to a film show organised by the operator of a film theatre is an individual right. Pricing is organised by category in accordance with procedures laid down by regulation.

Except by way of derogation, admission tickets that are not linked to a computerised ticketing system may not be issued outside cinemas.

The admission fee is retained by the spectator until the end of the film show.

Le droit d’entrée à une séance de spectacles cinématographiques organisée par un exploitant d’établissement de spectacles cinématographiques est individuel. Sa tarification est organisée en catégories selon des modalités fixées par voie réglementaire.

Sauf dérogation, il ne peut être délivré de droits d’entrée non liés à un système informatisé de billetterie en dehors des établissements de spectacles cinématographiques.

Le droit d’entrée est conservé par le spectateur jusqu’à la fin de la séance de spectacles cinématographiques.
