Article L213-2 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Within the framework of the missions listed in 1° and 2° of article L. 213-1, the Film Ombudsman may be approached by any natural person or legal entity concerned, by any interested professional or trade union organisation or by the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée. It may also take up any matter within its remit on its own initiative.

Article L213-2

Dans le cadre des missions énumérées aux 1° et 2° de l’article L. 213-1, le médiateur du cinéma peut être saisi par toute personne physique ou morale concernée, par toute organisation professionnelle ou syndicale intéressée ou par le président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée. Il peut également se saisir d’office de toute affaire entrant dans sa compétence.
