Article L2531-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Subject to the provisions of article L. 2531-7, the payment is allocated to the financing of investment and operating expenses for regular public passenger transport carried out in the Paris transport region.

Ile-de-France Mobilités may also contribute from the resources generated by this payment to the financing:

– of measures taken in application of the fare policy applicable to the services mentioned in 1° of I of article L. 1241-1 of the Transport Code;

– investment and operating expenditure for any action relating to the organisation of mobility within the meaning of the same Article L. 1241-1;

– on an ancillary basis and within the framework of agreements signed between the syndicate and the managers, expenditure on the operation of structures and facilities allocated to transport and mentioned by the mobility plan, such as bus stations, park-and-ride facilities and interchange centres corresponding to different modes of transport;

– operations aimed at encouraging the combined use of public transport and bicycles.

Sous réserve des dispositions de l’article L. 2531-7, le versement est affecté au financement des dépenses d’investissement et de fonctionnement des transports publics réguliers de personnes effectués dans la région des transports parisiens.

Ile-de-France Mobilités peut également contribuer sur les ressources provenant de ce versement au financement :

– de mesures prises en application de la politique tarifaire applicable aux services mentionnés au 1° du I de l’article L. 1241-1 du code des transports;

– des dépenses d’investissement et de fonctionnement de toute action relevant de l’organisation de la mobilité au sens du même article L. 1241-1 ;

– à titre accessoire et dans le cadre de conventions passées entre le syndicat et les gestionnaires, de dépenses d’exploitation d’ouvrages et d’équipements affectés au transport et mentionnés par le plan de mobilité, tels que des gares routières, des parcs relais et des centres d’échanges correspondant à différents modes de transport ;

– des opérations visant à favoriser l’usage combiné des transports en commun et du vélo.
