Article L311-19 of the French Insurance Code

Without prejudice to the provisions of Article L. 325-1, the resolution board may decide to withdraw all or part of the authorisation of a person subject to resolution proceedings, where appropriate after implementing resolution measures.

The decision to fully withdraw the authorisation of this person does not automatically result in the dissolution of the undertaking.

Judicial liquidation, governed by Chapter VI of Title II of Book III of this Code, Section 3 of Chapter II of Title I of Book II of the Mutual Code or Section 5 of Chapter I of Title 3 of Book 9 of the Social Security Code, is, unless otherwise provided, opened only at the request of the Resolution College.

Sans préjudice des dispositions de l’article L. 325-1, le collège de résolution peut décider de prononcer le retrait total ou partiel de l’agrément de la personne soumise à une procédure de résolution, le cas échéant après mise en œuvre de mesures de résolution.

La décision de retrait total d’agrément de cette personne n’emporte pas de plein droit la dissolution de l’entreprise.

La liquidation judiciaire, régie par le chapitre VI du titre II du livre III du présent code, à la section 3 du chapitre II du titre Ier du livre II du code de la mutualité ou à la section 5 du chapitre Ier du titre 3 du livre 9 du code de la sécurité sociale, est, sauf disposition contraire, ouverte à la seule requête du collège de résolution.
