Article L312-77 of the French Consumer Code

When the contract is renewed, until at least twenty days before the date on which they become effective, the borrower may object to the changes proposed by the lender using a reply slip attached to the information provided by the lender, on paper or any other durable medium.

The characteristics of the reply slip and the information it must contain are specified by decree.

Lors de la reconduction du contrat, jusqu’au moins vingt jours avant la date où celles-ci deviennent effectives, l’emprunteur peut s’opposer aux modifications proposées par le prêteur en utilisant un bordereau-réponse annexé aux informations fournies par le prêteur, sur support papier ou tout autre support durable.


Les caractéristiques de ce bordereau ainsi que les mentions devant y figurer sont précisées par décret.
